That's right, you can now donate to LUCIA via text message! You won't be charged for your text message, and 100% of your donation will passed to LUCIA. Just follow these simple instructions:
(1) Choose the amount you wish to donate - £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 (only these amounts can be accepted, with a total maximum donation of £30 a month)
(2) Write a message that includes LUCIA's charity code (LUCY00) and the amount you wish to donate
e.g. LUCY00 £10
(3) Send this message to 70070
(4) If you'd like LUCIA to claim GiftAid on your donation, follow the instructions in the text message you receive from JustGiving
That's it, job done! LUCIA appreciates every donation, and all money received is used for valuable projects in Ethiopia. So go on, get texting!

Recycle your old mobile phones and empty ink-jet or laser printer cartridges to help LUCIA raise funds. It won't cost you a penny!
Just order your FREEPOST envelopes, pop the cartridges or phone into one of the envelopes and drop it into your local postbox. That's it!
For larger collections, such as your work offices or school, you can request a free collection box. Once the box is full, you just dial the number on the box to arrange free collection. It's as simple as that!
Please note that phones should be in working order and with a battery, but should not include the charger. Please also remember to remove your SIM card.

On the envelopes that your letters arrive in, there will often be postage stamps, and we can raise funds from these, especially if they are interesting or unusual. Please send us your used postage stamps!
Simply cut them neatly out of the used envelope - leaving a border of at least 1cm or 1/4 inch - and without damaging them. You can either post them in to us at the address below, or you can hand them in at one of our events, or give them to one of the LUCIA staff if you know them in person.
