Liz Broomfield and her running partner Jen completed the Great Midlands Fun Run on 1 June, running the 8.5 miles in 1 hour 38 minutes and 3 seconds! Cardiac Hill wasn't too bad, after months of training around Kings Heath and Moseley; the event was a great day out, and, most importantly, they enjoyed it!

Liz and Jen managed to raise over £400 for LUCIA via the paper sponsor forms and JustGiving web page. Thank you so much to all who sponsored them. This money could be used, for example, to feed 30 orphaned girls for approximately 3 months.

Alison blasted her way through the Great North Run and now has a shiny medal to show off.
