Alison blasted her way through the Great North Run and now has a shiny medal to show off.
All the trustees of LUCIA would like to say a big thank you to all of the people who sponsored and supported Alison. And, of course, a very big thank you to Alison for doing all the hard work!

Dear Friends and colleagues,
Thanks to everyone who has supported me and LUCIA. I can tell you all that my finishing time was 2h 30m. It was a really great event to participate in, and I finished just behind a rugby player in pink wings and a tutu, and just in front of Scooby Doo.
Many thanks to everyone who has shown me support and good will. Here’s to you all. We’ve raised approximately £600! Please hand your donations to either Sylvia Gardiner, or myself.
