Birminghamhalfmarathon
After hearing that several of the participants in the Birmingham half-marathon were running for LUCIA, local resident Tracey Kent set about showing them support during the route. With help from the family, the LUCIA banner was tied up in her garden and a beautiful sign was made to spur on runners Ann Evans and Liz Broomfield. Those running past couldn't help but notice the LUCIA logo, and it certainly helped remind Ann and Liz why they were taking part. Both runners did fantastically well and are still taking sponsorship money. If you were unable to cheer for them on the day but would like to congratulate them both, why not make a donation? Simply click on their names above to be taken to their JustGiving fundraising pages.
