Ink Cartridges

Recycle your old mobile phones and empty ink-jet or laser printer cartridges to help LUCIA raise funds. It won't cost you a penny!

Just order your FREEPOST envelopes, pop the cartridges or phone into one of the envelopes and drop it into your local postbox. That's it!

For larger collections, such as your work offices or school, you can request a free collection box. Once the box is full, you just dial the number on the box to arrange free collection. It's as simple as that!

Please note that phones should be in working order and with a battery, but should not include the charger. Please also remember to remove your SIM card.

To get your free envelopes or collection box, just fill out the online request form - [Click Here]

If you also need to buy replacement ink, you can help LUCIA raise money that way too!

For more details about the recycling scheme, please click here - or contact us with your query.

Un-wanted Christmas Gifts? Print E-mail
Written by Stephen Burton

giftbox
Hopefully Santa brought you just what you hoped for at Christmas ...but sometimes we're left with one or two things that we just won't use and so we put them at the back of a cupboard, where they sit for years and collect dust!

If you have anything like that, why not free up some of your cupboard space, earn yourself some money and make a small donation to LUCIA - helping poor communities in Africa too!  How? ...well you could put those unwanted gifts up for sale on eBay and donate a small portion of the sale price to LUCIA. It's quick and easy to do and much better than letting things go to waste.

If you don't like that idea, you might like to consider donating complete and unopened items to LUCIA, so that they could be used in a fundraising competition or sale. If you would like to donate an unwanted gift, then please contact us.

Thank you for your support!

Foreign bank notes and coins

Foreign Currency lying around that you no longer need?

Instead of wasting it and cluttering up your drawers, please consider donating it to LUCIA who will use it to support important education, income generation and health projects in Africa.

We take any type of foreign currency. It can be just a few coins, or a wad of notes!

Simply hand them in to one of the LUCIA staff.

1953 UK Stamp
On the envelopes that your letters arrive in, there will often be postage stamps. It does not matter if they are post-marked. Please send us your used postage stamps!

LUCIA can raise money from used stamps, so please try to remember to save your used stamps for us. Simply tear or cut them out of the used envelope - leaving about an inch border - and without damaging them and then you can either post them in to us at the address below, or you can hand them in at one of our events, or give them to one of the LUCIA staff if you know them in person.

LUCIA, P.O. Box 224, Spar, The Guild, Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham, West Midlands. B15 2TU. United Kingdom.

Many thanks for your kind support. All the money raised will help to support projects in Africa.
